• I finally got my windows up and running
• February was one of my best months on the tables

• I finally got a reservation for booth one at my new favorite restaurant
• There is a reasonable chance I will be taking a year or two off from poker to work on a documentary full time in the near future
• This is my final week of being 26

I have been on edge lately. Sometimes I get swallowed by these overwhelming negative emotions that seem to be unfathered. It isn't very hard for me to do a 180, but it usually has to be some sort of external force. To almost an unhealthy fashion I really do appreciate the little things. I love stretching my calf muscles. I love memorizing random numbers. I love falsely assuming something is a Freudian slip. I get pretty jealous when my friends do better than me in poker. It is absurdly relative. I can feel happy for them up until they make one dollar more than me. I would have sat 200/400 PLO today, but I was restricted from playing that high. I emailed them to let me play, but they wanted me to fax them ID so I gave up. I think my dog would be an excellent gambler if given the opportunity. For every 7 monkeys I get off my back, 8 more get on. I might be heading in the wrong direction. I used a pumice stone to scrub a stamp from a bar off of the back of my hand and it looked as if I had gotten a third degree burn on my skin when I was finished. I don't think I am a masochist. For every 8 wounds I get, 7 don't leave a scar.

Serious relationships are usually enjoyable.
Fine dinning is typically delightful.
Family holidays can be special.
Beach picnics tend to be splendid.
Alcohol is great.
Music keeps the world turning.
Sex can be nice.
All that being said,
Gambling is the best thing in the world.

Full Circle

I have the first half of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata down pat. I have always thought deep down that I was more of an intellectual than a jock, but as of late I've been exercising my body way more than my mind. A recent dabble with 25/50 PLO led to some of the wildest swings I have ever experienced (winning and losing around 30k a day). I eventually quit on an big upswing [I never thought I'd see that day] because, even though I was winning, it was just stressing me out too much. It doesn't make all that much sense when I write it down. The primary thought on my mind lately is the fear of dying without ever being a father. There are times over this year where I would have honestly put the odds at a 20:1 favorite and times where I would have honestly put the odds at a 20:1 dog of starting a family. The windows side of my computer got a virus today so I will be out of commission for about a week. I'd like to master the second half of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.

Lucky

So today was by far my best day ever in poker. My online cash winnings over the past few hours just exceeded my WSOP score. Feels pretty good to run super hot. Here is my favorite HH from the session, seems like all my bluffs were right on point:

Apple FTW

My laptop battery started to go after two years so I went down to the apple store and they gave me a new battery almost no questions asked for free. What a week.

Another Short

Self Censorship

Sorry if this blog has become relatively boring. There have been some really interesting things going on lately, but I have been biting my tongue a bit because I am not sure who reads this thing these days. I know I know, I didn't think I had any self discipline either.
