As many of you may have suspected or already know, a lady friend has come into my life as of late. It changes things around. The following are a few of the more notable alterations in lifestyle over the past month:

• my desire to play poker has drastically decreased
• I have been blogging more infrequently
• food tastes better
• I nearly considered cleaning up my condo
• I am learning some French
  
• I can't remember the last time I was on retarded ass banana monkey life tilt

Overall it's quite a welcome chance of pace. However, the world series of poker is in the horizon and rapidly approaching. Traveling isn't quite as easy as it was a year ago. I have a dog that I only want the best for, my bankroll is a bit thinner and now there is a lady friend to consider. All that aside - I am a degen at heart. I plan on doing whatever I have to in order to spend a solid 5 weeks with the house of pain at the castle this summer:

Since we were sitting over 150bb deep, I knew if I flat called he would shove a lot of hands over the top to that action. Worked out perfect and KK held up.

Overall I don't think I was playing all that great poker, but it was really fun to play wild and put people on tilt. I am not sure how much poker I will play the rest of the year - I am even having second thoughts about an extensive WSOP outing as originally planned. I'm sure everything will come back to me after a sake-bomb from the Orleans sushi bar.

I plan on leaving the gambling world soon to pursue my career as a professional artist.

Tug of War

So after playing over 200k hands of poker in the first three months of the year I have taken a screeching halt and played less than 200 hands of poker the past two weeks. Thinking back on it at this very moment I still don't really know why or how. So what does a single 25 year old male with no job do with two weeks of free time? The following:

• take a few days to visit a good friend in Charlotte
• start up a wine club
• inspired by some art gallery trips I've been doing some sketches
  
• there have been some developments on the lady front
• long walks and rock climbing

Which brings me to my next point - the ethics of secondary blogging. I have no problem pouring my brain into blog format and leaving myself susceptible to utter embarrassment and disintegrated privacy. But what about when it comes to other people's (family/friends/strangers) personal lives. What right do I have and what limits ought to respected when publicizing such sensitive material to the world of gambling degens and cyberspace perverts. I guess one ought to err on the side of caution. This goes against most of my natural instincts.

Forced Hiatus

So I left the power cord to my laptop in Charlotte during a visit to the hostile1. I can't really play any poker, yet I reluctantly embrace the nearly computer free existence that is sure to follow for an undetermined period of time. On a brighter note I started up a wine club. A Seemingly Useless Analogy

My stack is falling short and the blinds are getting big. Eventually I realize that I have been way too patient for way too long. The fear of taking a stand and getting aggressive has left me with a dwindled and rusty play book. It's nearly impossible to know what strategy works best if you never leave your comfort zones. It isn't classified as a grind if you aren't turning over some sort of profit. Penis Penis Penis.
