Art Project

So my inflatable giraffe was torn to shreds by the wind from the grate by morning and by evening someone had come by and thrown away everything before I could even get a chance. So I started to brainstorm. I thought it would be cool to build a giant replica of the lotto ball machines on the grate after accidentally purchasing some clear trash bags...With some help from my gf I purchased and painted 100 ping pong balls, made a giant dome, and set it up. Despite the 30mph winds and three different set ups the balls wouldn't budge off the ground. Oops, it would have been cool if it worked. So I began to brainstorm some more and came up with this guy:I got to work with trash bags and packing tape and left over balloons from new years eve and constructed this guy:I brought him downstairs and he came to life...Check him out in motion:

It's hard to see from the video, but he has flaming red hair (deflated entertainer balloons) that whips around wildly. I brought him back upstairs for a few more finishing touches [plus I really want my gf to see him in person] before I leave him out on the streets for some rando to throw away. I love inflatable street art.
