"Life is Funny. Like when some movie opens and closes in the same weekend cause they didn't advertise enough - you know. Then you hear the movie was crappy anyway so you didn't miss much right? But was it crappy? Was it? You don't know cause you didn't see it. I guess you're left trying to figure it out is what my point is. I guess a lot of stuff doesn't make sense after you've seen a dead body - you know?"

If he had the set my hand would have had break even value at 276 dollars, if he had the nuts like he did my hand had an increased EV to 335 dollars, but he if he had the Jc with his nut my hand was only worth 321 dollars: it would have cost me 316 dollars. I guess gambler is a bit of a misnomer.

MasterJ Is Coming to Town!
In order to make the master feel as welcome as possible I have taken the following measures:
*There is nothing worse than having to survive without your vices whilst on vacation, so in consideration of MasterJ I had my puppy stockpile over a years supply of Star magazine.
*Since Indiana is over 90% white I have set up racial information stations throughout my condo to ease this Midwesterner into a comfortable assimilation.
*In order to bring a little Indiana here I wanted to make my place Hoosier friendly. But I still can't figure out what the hell a Hoosier is so I just put up some Indy 500 posters.
*Lastly, following that monumental trip to Vegas last summer, MasterJ has achieved a rather infamous reputation in strip clubs throughout the world. To say the least I will be sure to Scotchguard my couch.

Full Circle
I've been around the block when it comes to experimenting with different poker styles. Nearly all poker players start off with a rather formulaic stepping stone on their path to self discovery. Most players begin playing too loose than realize that practicing tight poker makes it easy to win at small limits; now if the player is talented enough here his ego will surpass his talent and one will start to play hands with questionable EV. After this things get rather situational. Personally I had tons of success once I opened up my game, followed by 9 months {a new gamblegambel is now born} of devastating break even poker. One of the most fascinating aspects of the game is the inability to ever be sure of anything. With so many variables and the complete absence of any control groups, all attempts at any sort of accurate scientific evidence for what is profitable is an exercise in fruitlessness. I guess Tuff_Fish said it best, "Just need to get back to my aggressive game here."
