I Do Not Want This
So I drove my scooter home this evening in Friday night Atlanta traffic in the rain after half a bottle of wine, four beers, and a cocktail. I probably should have died, but I guess it wasn't my time. I should probably give my poker passwords to someone so if I do die a crap load of money doesn't go wasted/ungambled. Drinking with friends is my favorite thing to do when not playing poker. I also love doing what everyone doesn't expect me to do. Blogging is fun. Vegas is hot. Women are hard/easy. I am in left field. I want to know everything. I want to be everywhere. I want to fuck everyone in the world. I want to do something that matters.

You know how this world can beat you down.
Don't fear you're not the only one who thinks this way.
Even though you have a Zombie icon on PTR, you act a lot like a human being.
Hope to see you in LV sometime soon sir.
Pull it together, man. If you don't like your life, make some changes.
All the things you do not want are just behaviors you need to get away from. There is nothing holding you down or stopping you from doing WHATEVER the hell it is you think will help you get your shit together. And dude, all this being alone stuff is pretty ridiculous...you're 26 y/o, bringing in 100k+ year with no attachments - the only person who will keep you from finding a woman to marry is yourself. I've been having a similar thought within myself for the last month or two and came to the conclusion I was greatly overreacting.
well, if comments are the lifeline of blogging... it appears you have a lifeline.
Think there may have been some overreactions from commentors not realizing the reference in this post.
I wasn't referring to just this one post
I reacted to the narrative part of the post. When driving drunk, the death of the driver is not the worst consequence imaginable.
I know for a fact that life has a totally different feel when you give back. Just changing one guys day for the better can make your whole perspective on life change drastically. you get so much back that its almost selfish to do it.
When i was to be a senior in highschool but not attending, my friend and i used to get up super early, pack up coffee donuts and a couple doobies and would cram all of the sad looking kids waiting for the school bus into my minivan (which was equipped with couches and a horn that played la cucaracha) and gave them a ride to school. I had a feeling that made there day, which in turn made my month. (i wouldnt recommend doing this now though, prolly wouldnt end well legally)
Amazing comment string that continues to develop here without a new post from the Gambler.
Maybe you should start by quoting somebody more cheerful, say . . . charles bukowski.
So you could more easily justify parking your scooter under a bus.
If there's one thing I've know about depression it's this:
Trent makes it trite.
I like turtles
LMAO. What a scary looking zombie we have here!
