I really don't get Matusow's play here. Does he honestly think you're gonna fold getting 2:1 on your money?

He's first to act and is representing the king. it would be stupid for gamble to stay in if he didn't have a k (which matusow has good odds that he doesn't)
Let's be honest here "david". That is one terrible play. At least have a pair or a draw with the bluff. I'll even take a 10 9 for the gutty. That is brutal knowing that if you get called you are practically dead. risk 695 to win 225 = terrible play. Get over it "david".

okay "matt." I was simply putting a possibility as to why Matusow made the play. I'm completely aware as to why it's a bad play - I was just trying to establish why someone would make the play he did.
